Introducing Chowman’s All New Menu

This May, gear up to indulge into the unique flavours of the Orient! Here comes a plethora of handpicked dishes truly inspired from the land of Korea, Burma & Japan all under one roof of Chowman-Kolkata’s favourite Chinese food destination.

From veg & non-veg starters, the new menu will feature some lip-smacking, enticing finger foods, main-courses & many more. Dishes like Stir Fried Pak Choi in Chilli Garlic Sauce, Steamed Fish in Chinese Greens, Sliced Fish in Soya Chilli, Chowman’s Signature Prawn Balls, Baos, Steamed Chicken in Exotic Veg will be few of the new additions in the starters’ section, while the main course will have delicious Bangkok Street Noodle Bowl, warm and toothsome Ramen, alongside a grand array of traditional Burmese platter-Khao Suey.

Speaking on the same, Chowman’s MD, Debaditya Chaudhury commented, “For me, Chowman is not just a brand, but it is a step into bringing the unexplored onto the plates of people. Over the last decade, I have travelled to places, picking the best dishes around the world of the Orients and introducing them into our menu.

Years have passed and currently, the culinary world has taken a front seat. I am totally moved by how these younger generations are finally stepping outside their comfort food and trying out cuisines from different parts of the Asia.

Chowman too is evolving and growing up with the youth. And as a celebration of the people who dared to explore the culinary world, Chowman is introducing 16 new Pan Asian Cuisines. Hope people will love them like they have loved and appreciated our dishes till date.

Here comes our all new menu featuring:

ROCK CORN – Prepared in a Japanese style, we got the crispy round balls stuffed with tender corn seed and fried to golden perfection.

CRACKLING SPINACH Indulge into the robust flavours of Fresh Spinach chopped and fried to golden perfection, in a lip-smacking concoction of spicy and sweet with a tinge of tang, garnished with sliced, roasted almond.

PAN FRIED CHILLI MUSHROOM – Button mushroom, cut into halves and stir fried alongside green bell pepper, and onion with a tinge of spicy chillies can be one hot and enticing starter.

CRISPY HONEY PANEER – We got some delicious tender paneer, coated with a golden crisp and tossed in honey for that lip-smacking concoction of crunch fused with the perfect sweet blend.

STIR FRIED PAK CHOI IN CHILLI GARLIC SAUCE – Exotic pak choi stir fried in chilli garlic sauce flavour, blended perfectly for that crunchy, juicy biteful of a delicious starter.

KOREAN CHICKEN WINGS – Mildly spiced tender chicken wings & legs coated then smothered in a sticky, spicy &sweet mix of sauces as an enticing finger food.

 

STEAMED CHICKEN WITH EXOTIC VEG – Marinated sliced chicken with assorted vegetables, button mushroom, baby corn stir fried and tossed in chef’s special sauces.

CRUMBED FRIED FISH – Crispy Fried Fish served with Sweet Chilli Sauce is the perfect bite of soulfulness coming in a plate altogether.

SLICED FISH IN SOYA CHILLI SAUCE – Marinated fish tossed in Dark Soya, and red chilli paste, garnished with spring onion.

STEAMED FISH IN CHINESE GREENS – A true soul-lifter, we got the Steamed beckti stir fried with zucchini and exotic green veggies, flavoured with lemongrass.

CHOWMAN’S SIGNATURE PRAWN BALLS – Crispy, delectable Prawn balls with the aroma of ginger, fried to golden perfection and served with sweet chilli sauce.

BAO  – Here comes a new addition to our menu, straight from the province of Beijing with our Steamed, fluffy buns stuffed with a mouthful of your preferred variant, topped with sesame seeds.

KHAO SUEY –  Experience the flavours of ancient Burmese noodle dish, served with a blend of spicy and sweet coconut sauce, with eight different condiments for a robust flavours melting into the mouth.

RAMEN – Japanese style noodle soup in your preferred variants of veg, chicken, and seafood is one nutrient enriched main course that reaches directly to the heart’s way.
